Cail’s Candy Corner has been open for almost a full year, and we are so incredibly proud and thankful to everyone who has stopped by or shopped online to support us! As we start planning our big 1st birthday celebration in August ( hint hint ), we wanted to take a moment to explain something special.
You might have noticed that small "730" tucked away at the top of our logo. So, what does it mean?
Well, it’s Cail’s birthday: July 30th (7/30).
Cail was diagnosed with autism in 2016, and he is the inspiration and guiding force behind everything we do. Back in 2023, our family moved from Vancouver to Tagish, Yukon, where Cail absolutely loved the beauty of the North. Although his needs required him to move back to Vancouver in early 2025, our love for the Yukon never faded.
To keep Cail’s bright spirit alive in the North, we opened our store in Whitehorse. The idea was born from our car rides to get him a special "treat" to brighten his mood—a simple, positive moment we realized everyone could use a little more of.
So, for his big celebration, from the store with his name, we asked him to go through the shop and pick his absolute, all-time favourite treats to share with you. We are thrilled to invite you to join in the festivities with the Cail’s Candy Corner Birthday Box! Each box is a joyful collection of balanced sweet, and salty, mixed with flat-out fun that brings the biggest smile to Cail’s face, hand-picked by the birthday boy himself. We hope you celebrate with us.
